Other Matters Atelier is a Los Angeles–based studio for archival vintage, specializing in one-of-one designer and couture pieces. Founded by designer Hope Griffin after a decade in the fashion industry, the atelier sources primarily in Paris, choosing each piece for its construction, its history, and how well it will wear today. Every garment is studied closely before it's offered: the seams, the finishing, the fabric, and the story behind it, with honest condition notes so you know exactly what you're getting. Alongside individual finds, the atelier brings together collections from overlooked personal wardrobes, researching the people who made and wore them so that history travels with each piece. At its core, Other Matters is a living archive. Clothes survive by being worn, and each piece's story continues with whoever wears it next.
